Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th every year to commemorate the movement for women's rights. In Italy we refer this celebration to a fire of 1911 in New York, which killed 134 women in a shirt factory on March 8th but according to the countries it could change dates, places, number of victims. It was UDI (Unione Donne Italiane) to chose Mimosa as a symbol of this celebration because yellow means: power, vitality, joy and also because it is Spring flower and was very cheap too. Today women protest to say STOP to violence, femminicide, discrimination and harassment in work place.venerdì 10 marzo 2017
